The Taylor 069392 return spring is the self-closing spring for the draw valve mechanism on Taylor soft serve machines. Its function is to apply constant return tension so the draw valve closes fully and consistently after each pour — maintaining portion control and preventing product leakage between cycles.
This Super Spring version is made from 17-7 stainless steel and oven-baked at 900°F for one hour. The heat treatment relieves molecular stress in the steel, locking in elasticity and resistance to fatigue and corrosion. In commercial use where the spring cycles hundreds of times daily, this construction significantly extends service life compared to standard replacements.
