About This Beater Assembly
The X35466 is the original style, non-reinforced beater assembly for Taylor Softech and legacy soft serve machines using the 13-1/4" scraper blade. The beater assembly drives the scraper blades inside the freezing cylinder — it is the primary rotating component of the machine. A bent or broken beater causes immediate machine downtime and must be replaced before the machine can operate.
When to Replace
- Beater is visibly bent, warped, or cracked
- Machine vibrates excessively or makes a knocking noise during operation
- Scraper blades are contacting the cylinder unevenly — icy or inconsistent product on one side
