When to Replace
A good indication that a beater motor is failing is tripping the reset button. If you have to press the red reset button on your Taylor machine, the motor may be drawing excessive amperage due to wear or internal failure. Note: a tripping reset can also be caused by a defective beater line starter or product that is too cold — rule those out first before replacing the motor.
