Replacement Schedule
This part only needs to be replaced if it fails. It is recommended that you keep a spare on hand. This part is designed to break before or instead of the beater assembly or freezer door. Common causes are a freeze up or running the machine out mix. A good indication that the hex coupler has failed is that the machine is running, but product won't dispense. In most Taylor models you need to removed the side panel to determine if this is the issue.
